About
OnyxLab started as a group chat where three friends kept arguing about wave defence layouts and unit builds. We got tired of reviews that read like press releases, so we made our own corner of the web. Everything here comes from real sessions on real phones.
We focus on strategy and tower defence because those genres reward patience and planning, and mobile screens change how both feel. A game that shines on desktop can crumble under fumbly touch controls, and we care about that difference.,We pick games by playing them ourselves first. Someone on the team spots a title, we install it, and we give it at least a few hours before anyone writes a word. If it holds up, it gets a full review. If it doesn't, we still note why, because a warning is useful too.,There's no sponsor deciding our schedule. We're small, we're opinionated, and we'd rather be trusted than big. When we're wrong we update the piece and say what changed.
Marek Kowalczyk — Marek has been sinking hours into tower defence games since the flash era. He leads the reviews and refuses to rate anything he hasn't finished at least one campaign of.
